Dale Dickey cast in the second season of Chuck Lorre's Bookie

Dale Dickey has landed a recurring role in the upcoming second season of Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay's HBO Max comedy series Bookie.

The comedy series, starring Sebastian Maniscalco and Omar J. Dorsey, follows bookmaker Danny (Maniscalco) as he and his partner, former NFL star Ray (Dorsey), romp through Los Angeles to keep their illegal sports betting operation afloat.

Season two will likely (SPOILERS!!!) show whether Danny can win back the affection of his wife Sandra (Andrea Anders) after his Super Bowl victory appears to have torn them apart, as well as Ray dealing with the fallout from his mother's wedding, where the groom apparently died at the altar.

Bookie also stars Vanessa Ferlito as Danny's sister Lorraine, Jorge Garcia as the reluctantly reformed drug dealer turned football expert Hector and Maxim Swinton as Sandra's ten-year-old son.

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Lorre and Bakay produce alongside Maniscalco, Judi Marmel and Andy Tennant, who directed several episodes.

Dickey recently appeared in an episode of Prime Video's Fallout and has had roles in Prime Video's A League Of Their Own, the Netflix limited series Unbelievable and TNT's Claws, among others.
