The alternate history series will premiere on Prime Video in June, and the streaming service has released some first photos.

The My Lady Jane series is based on the novel by Brodi Ashton, Jodi Meadows and Cynthia Hand and tells a very different story about the British queen Jane Grey, also known as the Nine Days Queen. In this version, King Henry VIII's son Edward does not die of tuberculosis and Jane and her husband are not beheaded.
Prime Video revealed more about the upcoming series in the press release below:

Inspired by the bestseller My Lady Jane, My Lady Jane is a radical retelling of English royal history, in which King Henry VIII's son Edward does not die of tuberculosis, Lady Jane Gray is not beheaded, and her thug of a husband Neither does Guildford.
At the center of this exciting new series is the brilliant and headstrong Jane, who is unexpectedly crowned queen overnight and becomes the target of nefarious villains after the crown (and her head)...
My Lady Jane is an epic story of true love and great adventure, in which the damsel in distress saves herself, her true love and then the kingdom.
The cast is led by newcomer Emily Bader in the title role of Jane Grey. Edward Bluemel plays Guildford Dudley opposite her. Jordan Peters plays King Edward. Dominic Cooper stars as Lord Seymour, Anna Chancellor plays Jane's mother, Lady Frances Grey, and Rob Brydon portrays Lord Dudley, Guildford's father. Jim Broadbent plays the Duke of Leicester, Jane's uncle.
Henry Ashton plays Guildford's brother Stan and Isabella Brownson and Robyn Betteridge play Jane's sisters. Kate O'Flynn and Abbie Hern star as the king's sisters, Princess Mary and Princess Bess, respectively. Other cast members include Máiréad Tyers, Joe Klocek and Michael Workeye.
Creator Gemma Burgess is co-showrunner/executive producer, Meredith Glynn is co-showrunner/executive producer, Jamie Babbit is directing five of the eight episodes and is producing director/executive producer, and Sarah Bradshaw and Laurie MacDonald are executive producers.”
