The first trailer of the second season of the Spanish HBO Original series 30 Monedas (30 Coins) has just been released. In the second season of 30 Monedas (30 Coins), most of the residents of Pedraza have lost their minds and have been admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Elena lies comatose in a hospital bed in Madrid where Paco, wracked with remorse, tries to take care of her.

As the horror of their situation grows, our group of heroes faces a new enemy. Someone so perverted that even the devil fears him. But what happened to Father Vergara? Did he die along with his nemesis, Cardinal Santoro? Where can the tormented souls hide?



The cast includes Eduard Fernández, Megan Montaner, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Paul Giamatti, Macarena Gómez, Najwa Nimri, Pepón Nieto, Cósimo Fusco, Manolo Solo, Nuria González, Javier Bódalo and Manuel Tallafé.

The second season of 30 Monedas (30 Coins) was filmed in Spain, Italy, USA, France and UK. The series is directed by Álex de la Iglesia and co-written by Álex de la Iglesia and Jorge Guerricaechevarría. Executive producers for HBO Max are Steve Matthews, Miguel Salvat and Antony Root. Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang are executive producers for Pokeepsie Films. Produced by Anciana Milenaria S.L., a Pokeepsie Films company.

The second season will air on HBO Max in October. It was announced earlier today that the series is part of the official selection of the Sitges - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia (Special Screenings selection).
