Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake has been renewed for a second season by HBO Max

Finn and Jake's alternate universe continues. Max has renewed the YA animated series Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake for a second season. The series is a spin-off based on the characters from Cartoon Network's Adventure Time and premiered earlier this year. Set in the land of Ooo, Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake follows the alternate universe versions of Finn and Jake on a multiverse journey of self-discovery.



In season one, when Fionna and her sidekick Cake find themselves in the crosshairs of a powerful new enemy, they have no choice but to enlist the help of former Ice King Simon Petrikov. Marshall Lee, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Princess Bubblegum and Finn the Human also appear.

The voice cast includes Donald Glover, Andrew Rannells, Madeleine Martin, Roz Ryan, Tom Kenny, Kayleigh Mckee and Sean Rohani.

It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, with Adam Muto serving as showrunner and producing alongside Fred Seibert and Sam Register.
