Ahsoka first appeared as an animated character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and was then brought to life in The Mandalorian by Rosario Dawson (Dopesick). It was later announced that she would get her own spin-off series on Disney+.
Dinsey+ has released the teaser trailer for Ahsoka. If we have to believe the trailer, the series will be very exciting. In the past Star Wars series, one of the most iconic elements that gives you a real Star Wars feeling was often missing: lightsabers that clatter against each other. Based on the trailer, this is not going to be of any concern. You can watch the trailer at the bottom of this post.
Not much information is known yet about the spin-off, but we do know a number of other cast members who will join Rosario Dawson. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Hera Syndulla, Natasha Liu Bordizzo will play Sabine Wren, Ray Stevenson will play Baylan, Lars Mikkelsen will play Grand Admiral Thrawn and Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker.
Last Friday, Rosario Dawson announced that we can expect Ahsoka "soon". This news was later confirmed by Disney +, as the streaming service has officially announced that the series will appear in August of this year. Unfortunately, an exact date has still not yet been revealed.
