New trailer for second season Altered Carbon

Altered Carbon is an American science fiction series from Netflix. At the end of this month the second season will be released, which consists of eight episodes.Altered Carbon is based on the cyberpunk novel by Richard K. Morgan and takes place several hundred years in the future. Human consciousness can be downloaded into new bodies and people can - if they have enough money - live almost infinitely.

In the second season, Altered Carbon continues to delve into the themes of identity, mortality and human soul over longer periods and different worlds in the universe. This time, Takeshi Kovacs ends up in his search for his old love Quellcrist Falconer (Renée Elise Goldsberry) on his home planet Harlan’s World. He is put on a murder case, where finding Quellcrist also appears essential for his investigation. Takeshi Kovacs was mainly portrayed by Joel Kinnaman last season, but this season Anthony Mackie will take over the role.

The second season of Altered Carbon will be released on Netflix on 27 February. The trailer below was released a short while ago.
