Netflix announces when the second season of Arcane will be released

Arcane became the first streaming series to win Best Animated Program at last year's Emmys. Netflix will let us know when we can expect the series again. Unfortunately, it will take another year before viewers can enjoy the second season of the Riot Games adaptation. Season two of the series, created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, will be available to stream from November 2024. That would be three years after the first season.

Netflix announced the news as part of its Geeked Week event.



The series is narrated by Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell and Katie Leung, who will reprise their roles in the second season as Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn Kiramman, respectively.

Arcane made its debut in November 2021. The series is set in the utopian region of League of Legends empire Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun.

Animated by Fortiche Productions, Arcane follows the origins of popular League champion sisters Jinx and Vi as they attempt to reunite. The world of Arcane is overwhelmed by a dark force that causes violence and chaos and threatens to tear the sisters apart.

Linke and Yee produce alongside Marc Merrill, Brandon Beck, Jane Chung and Thomas Vu.
