ARIA

ARIA is a Dutch competition program which aired on Omroep MAX. The series premiered on October 10, 2021.

In this eight-part series, ten talented opera singers sing a well-known aria every week that is judged by this expert jury. The three seasoned jury members are opera singers who have also earned their spurs as singers outside the opera. The task they face is not an easy one, because opera is more than just singing, it is also acting, for example, and thus conveying a story and emotions.
