Beauty in Black season two gets start date and teaser from Netflix

Netflix has announced when the second season of Beauty in Black, the drama series by Tyler Perry, will be aired.Beauty in Black follows the lives of two women who each take a completely different path. In the second season, those paths will eventually collide, which will create extra tension and confrontations. A teaser for season two already gives a glimpse of what viewers can expect.

The Beauty in Black cast includes Taylor Polidore Williams, Crystle Stewart, Ricco Ross, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Charles Malik Whitfield, and Debbi Morgan.

Bryan Tanaka, Joy Rovaris, Tamera Kissen, Ursula O. Robinson, Ashley Versher, George Middlebrook, and Ts Madison play recurring roles.

Season two of Beauty in Black picks up where the turbulent first season left off. Horace Bellarie has, from his hospital bed, proclaimed former club dancer Kimmie Bellarie (formerly known as Kimmie) as his wife and heiress. This unexpected announcement of Kimmie as the new stepmother did not go down well with Roy and Charles, Horace's sons, nor with his ex-wife Olivia or daughter-in-law Mallory.

Yet Kimmie now officially holds the reins: she not only inherits the fortune, but also the status and the many enemies of the family. She becomes the new head of the Bellarie beauty empire. The Bellarie family seems to have finally found a formidable opponent in her.

Netflix says the following about season two: "Tyler Perry’s smash hit returns to Netflix with higher stakes, more drama and a new H.B.I.C. (and the B is for Bellarie). Put your respects in her name and trust no one when season two debuts on Thursday, September 11."
