Bel-Air‘s showrunner/writer/executive producer Carla Banks Waddles teases the new season is “summer school with no uniforms, just summer sizzle.” It will “explore questions like, how do you prove yourself in a world that views you in limited ways? How do you reach beyond your comfort zone to create new opportunities for yourself? How does a family rebuild broken trust?” In addition to the fun, the new season will also explore “the gentrification happening in South LA.”
