The title was revealed during the Vulture Festival in Los Angeles. It sounds quite nice and apparently, the focus group that was first told the title mentioned that it was a recognizable name.
The author who sold more than 80 million books globally will serve as an executive producer and writer at Bosch: Legacy. He was also part of the Amazon series Bosch in a similar role. The first season of the spin-off is ready and is currently in post-production.
Bosch fans already know that Harry handed in his badge and left the LAPD in the final episode of the first series.
Connelly revealed that Bosch: Legacy will jump forward two years. It will focus on three characters from the original series: Bosch (Titus Welliver), who is now working as a private detective, Honey 'Money' Chandler (Mimi Rogers, photo above), who was a powerful lawyer who became the victim of a murder attempt, and finally, Bosch's daughter, Maddie (Madison Lintz, photo), who is now an officer at the LAPD.
Part of the plot of the final season of Bosch will also be part of Bosch: Legacy, Connelly revealed. His novel, The Wrong Side of Goodbye, will form the foundation of the story of the sequel.
Bosch: Legacy will be streamable on IMDb TV, the free Amazon streaming service. A premiere date has not yet been announced but the series is expected to release in 2022.
