Bridgerton revolves around the oldest daughter of the mighty and wealthy Bridgerton family, Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor, Snatch). The series takes place in the sexy, lush and competitive world of the high society of Regency London. The series comes from Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy) and is based on the bestseller book series by Julia Quinn. It is the first Rhimes series to premiere as part of the deal that was made with Netflix. Chris van Dusen (Grey's Anatomy) serves as showrunner.
