Jake Lockett Promoted to Regular for Season Thirteen of Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire has given Jake Lockett a regular role for season thirteen. Lockett (pictured below) joined the firefighting drama in season eleven in the recurring role of firefighter Sam Carver. Things have been heating up between Carver and paramedic Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) since last season.



When the new season begins on Wednesday, September 25th at 8 p.m. (US time), the series will also newly feature Dermot Mulroney and KaDee Strickland.

Mulroney joins the popular firefighting drama as Boden's (Eamonn Walker) successor Dom Pascal after Walker's departure in the season 12 finale. Private Practice actress Strickland will play Pascal's estranged wife. Jocelyn Hudon, who plays nurse Lyla Novak, was previously reported to have been cast as a series regular in June.

Chicago Fire follows the professional and personal lives of the firefighters, rescue workers and paramedics of Firehouse 51 in the Windy City. The series also stars Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Christian Stolte and Joe Miñoso.

Executive producers are Dick Wolf, Andrea Newman, Matt Whitney, Reza Tabrizi and Peter Jankowski. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
