Start date and announcement video for third season Chucky

The deadly doll comes to America's capital. The start date of Chucky's third season was announced during a mock press conference.

Chucky is a tongue-in-cheek horror series starring Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Brad Dourif and recurring roles as Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Jennifer Tilly, Devon Sawa, and Barbara Alyn Woods.

The sequel to the Child's Play movie franchise airs on the USA Network and Syfy cable channels.

Chucky

In the story, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos after a vintage Good Guy doll turns up at a sale and is bought by teenager Jake Wheeler (Arthur). It turns out to be none other than Chucky (Dourif), a doll with the soul of a dead and vicious serial killer. Soon everyone in the town is faced with a series of gruesome murders that expose the town's deep hypocrisy and hidden secrets. Chucky crosses paths with mortal enemies, old allies and new prey, trying to sow fear and chaos wherever he goes.

On Syfy, Chucky's second season averaged 0.08 in the 18-49 demographic and 224K viewers in the live+same day ratings (including all DVR views up to 3am). On USA Network, the episodes averaged 0.10 in the 18-49 demographic and 249,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings.

Chucky is his ever-charming elusive self as he argues with reporters in the season three announcement video. He claims he has no idea who Sewa is (he played three roles in the past two seasons) but does share that Tilly will return because, well, she always comes back.

Season three of Chucky kicks off Wednesday, October 4 on USA Network and Syfy. Episodes will stream the following day on the Peacock streaming service.
