Season two of Citadel begins production this year, with Joe Russo set to direct. Citadel is executive produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot and Scott Nemes for AGBO, with David Weil serving as showrunner and executive producer.

The first season of Citadel became Prime Video’s second most-watched new original series outside the U.S. and fourth most-watched globally after 24 days on Prime Video.

Actor, writer and musician Berry (pictured above, left) is known for his work in What We Do in the Shadows, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination and, most recently, an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Berry previously won a BAFTA for his performance in Toast of London, which he also co-created. Berry voices the animated series Krapopolis and the upcoming film Cat in the Hat for Warner Bros.

Brazilian actor Leone (pictured above, right) rose to fame with his role in the Brazilian Amazon Original series Dom. He recently starred in Michael Mann's feature film Ferrari opposite Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz and is set to star in the upcoming Netflix miniseries Senna, where he plays F1 legend Ayrton Senna.
