There's going to be a fourth season of Coroner. CBC has renewed the Canadian crime series even before the third season has aired. The fourth season is expected to premiere on CBC in 2022. Twelve episodes have been ordered for that season. The renewal came even before the third season aired, which is set to begin on the 19th of August.
Coroner revolves around Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan,
Breakout Kings), a former ER doctor who now investigates suspicious deaths as a newly hired pathologist-anatomist. Jenny has a teenage son and has recently become a widow. She is driven by an intense desire to find the truth.
