Cross, from creator, showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins, is based on characters from James Patterson's bestsellers. Cross is a thriller series about Alex Cross, a detective and forensic psychologist who can uniquely delve into the psyche of murderers and their victims to identify and ultimately capture the killers.
The series also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford and Ryan Eggold.
The cast for season two includes Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard and Jeanine Mason. Johnny Ray Gill has been cast in a regular role in the series.

Watkins produces through his Blue Monday Productions, along with Jim Dunn, Sam Ernst and Craig Siebels. James Patterson, Bill Robinson and Patrick Santa produce on behalf of James Patterson Entertainment and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell produce on behalf of Skydance Television.
In season two, Dunn and Ernst have been elevated to co-showrunners along with Watkins. J. David Shanks, Aiyana White and Aldis Hodge have been added to the executive production team for season two. Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television produce Cross.
