'Dads' isn't going away. Fox has ordered six additional scripts for the Seth MacFarlane-produced Tuesday night comedy series, 'Dads', despite its ratings struggles.
This isn't a renewal or full-season pick-up yet, but extra scripts mean that FOX is planning to keep the show around for at least a little while longer. The series originally had just six episodes ordered.
Four episodes of 'Dads' have aired so far. This past week's episode got 3.1 million viewers.
And encouraging news for midseason NBC series 'The Night Shift', the network has ordered three additional scripts of the medical drama.
