Season two of Daredevil: Born Again is targeting a spring 2026 release date

The second season of superhero series Daredevil: Born Again is currently in production. The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again dropped last week, and it finds Vincent D'Onofrio's Mayor Fisk, aka the Kingpin, exerting his gangster grip on New York City as he and his wife Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer) attempt to carve out a separate city-state in the harbor of Red Hook.

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), back in the red suit, vows to take back the city for the greater good of all. Old friends Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Frank Castle, aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), help Matt in his crusade.

Meanwhile, Dr. Glenn (Margarita Levieva) is easily swayed by Mayor Fisk, who appoints her as the city's chief mental health officer, a move that will only widen the romance gap between Dr. Glenn and Matt in season two.

Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapene posted a message on Instagram to thank his teams for the season finale and hint that season two of the Disney+/Marvel Studios series will debut in March 2026.

“It’s all led up to this… Such a mix of emotions as we close out S1. So grateful for the cast, crew and studio for their confidence and indulgence. Biggest of thanks to Sana, Brad, Kevin, Lou, Aaron, Justin, Charlie, Vincent, Deb, Jon and the whole mad circus. And yeah, Season 2 March 2026,” wrote the showrunner on IG.

Aside from Daredevil: Born Again, Bernthal has a The Punisher special in the works for MCU/Disney+, which he's co-writing with filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green.
