The series started to disappoint me in season 5. I also dropped out in season 6. Childish and not nearly as strong as in the beginning.

I almost watched season four and I agree with you. The SF content decreases and the fairy tale/fantasy content increases sharply. Shame.

It diminishes a lot. Unfortunately.

Unfortunately the preview video does not work. Or I will watch? That depends entirely on the pilot. I like the concept, but if it turns into a poor rehash then I don't think I'm going to follow it. They seem to have only taken the Canary and the Captain as main characters. I would have expected more than that you would merge the protagonists of Arrow and The Flash together to make one good one out of the two. But apparently the CW dares to make something beautiful out of this mediocre group?

One more episode to go from the second season. As I reported back on March 16, it is very weak, but the penultimate episode is the height of weakness. You can no longer make any sense of it.

It still has to heat up in terms of story but there is potential ... Already curious about episode 2.

I think it's a nice series more fun when the arrow really starts to diminish

Seen pilot, and I must say tastes like more. Definitely nice because bits of Arrow came through too :)

It is a pity that there is so much jumping back and forth. Season 1 was pretty decent, but when I started Season 2 yesterday I thought "HE", but I'll give it another shot.

Fanboys and fangirls! Let's face it ... The beginning of Legends of Tomorrow is not very good. Don't get your period. Sir does not say it is bad, but part one of the pilot is not strong. This spinoff of Arrow and The Flash is of course a guaranteed hit for The CW. You can't blame the channel for thinking the following: 'let's give certain characters from The Flash and Arrow, which the fans liked, their own show'. So they did and the result is a series that turned out to be more expensive than expected. But come on, with such a large cast (with expensive names) and the CGI (special effects) that the series needs to look slick and convincing: that was to be expected! In Legends of Tomorrow, time traveler Rip Hunter travels back in time to form a team. According to Hunter, this team must be able to defeat the immortal Vandal Savage. It is no coincidence that these are prominent members who were previously seen in the predecessors of this series. Rip Hunter is not received too enthusiastically. If I knocked somewhere now. Would say I'm from the future. And need help to save the world ... you'd probably knock me down. Or advise to travel back to the institution where I come from. So it is understandable that The Atom (Brandon Routh, Arrow), White Canary (Caity Lotz, Arrow), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel, Arrow), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee, Arrow) Firestorm (Victor Garber and Franz Drameh, The Flash) ), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller, The Flash) and Heatwave (Dominc Purcell, The Flash) are skeptical. Later, they put their differences aside and decide to assist Hunter in his mission. What do they have to lose anyway. On Earth they are nobodies. Now they have the opportunity to become legends. Everyone immediately accepts that offer, right? All this results in a very standard episode, which never really gets remarkable. Okay, it looks good. That's for sure. However, it is superficial. The entire pilot consists only of set-up. The dialogues are full of exposition. Background information is stacked on background information. These characters do not climb Mount Everest, but the Mount Background Information. 'He did this, he feels that way for this reason, this happened then', etcetera. This is of course done to welcome the viewers who haven't seen Arrow and The Flash, but it ensures that the pilot is one big information dump. Nowhere is any momentum built up. The pilot is packed! I understand that The CW wanted to put all these characters in a series, but after seeing this pilot I wonder if this was necessary. Or, in any case, whether the creators could not have better used multiple episodes to introduce the characters naturally. Part one of the pilot is too forced. Everything you get to know about these characters will be told to you. There is no room for character development. There is no room to deepen the characters. That makes sense, because there are so many! It's a shame the folks behind Arrow and The Flash took it this way. Nobody makes an impression (yet), because nobody gets the chance. The viewer who is not very fond of superhero series will therefore be much less lenient for the start of this series than the viewers who draw to this series from Arrow and The Flash. I understand that completely. If you look at the pilot critically, then it is not much. For example, the team travels to 1975. A large part of the team visits a professor there. Heatwave, Captain Cold, White Canary and half of Firestorm will remain on the ship. Then the first three also decide to leave the ship to take a walk. What follows is an obligatory brawl, only to give these three some attention as well. Let's show that they are still there. The beginning is too formulaic! In addition, the story is anything but remarkable. It's the quintessential 'a group comes together because they're the only ones who can curb a particular threat' story. Everything goes by the book. There is no side road taken anywhere. Legends of Tomorrow does not yet make clear why this group was formed. There is no other reason than simply because these are fan favorites. Precisely because of all these elements, the beginning of Legends of Tomorrow is a routine job. It is 'not because we have to, but because we can' advertising. After throwing all this on your plate: I am really looking forward to the continuation of this series! But if I have to judge this episode qualitatively, and be fair, then the episode falls short. The first season of Arrow also had some start-up problems. The same will be the case in Legends of Tomorrow. The series will simply take time to use all characters in a meaningful / logical way. The series will also need time to really clarify why this series has the right to exist. The ratings will be really good, but every series needs a reason to exist. If it's not done in a qualitative and thoughtful way, even the biggest fans will see through it quickly. So for now it is hoped that the series will soon be able to smooth everything out. It might be Legends of Tomorrow, but certainly not today. www.meneervevie.com
