The miniseries is a film adaptation of the book by Hans Knoop and Paula van der Oest (Tonio, Lucia de B.) is the director. It stars Pierre Bokma (Mocro Mafia), Claire Bender (Morten) and Jack Wouterse (Fenix).
The series also has an extensive description: No other country in Western Europe had proportionally as many Jews deported and murdered during the Second World War as the Netherlands. How could this have happened?
The synopsis continues: From the beginning of the occupation, the Dutch authorities cooperated in the isolation and registration of the Jewish population. After the establishment of the Jewish Council, this body established by the occupying forces ensured communication with the beleaguered Jewish community.
