De Prins en het Meisje is a Dutch dramaseries which aired on VPRO. The series premiered in 2007.

The series is a dramatized interpretation of historical events and shows the love between Mabel Wisse Smit and Prince Johan Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau . A love that , even before it really exists, is challenged by the demands of the outside world.
