Twelve members of the public are summoned as jurors of a high-profile murder trial. They have no simple task: to decide the guilt or innocence of respected school principal Frie Palmers (46), who is accused of two murders. Not only does the trial prove decisive for Frie's fate, the lives of the jurors also take a whole new turn due to the high-profile murder case. In time, the assize case becomes not only the trial of the accused, but also of the jurors themselves.

In the end a bit of a setback: the series starts strong, is well constructed, excellent actors, but the last episode, in which you as a viewer hope that everything will become clear, is disappointing. A number of storylines also simply end without a clear ending. A correct view of how an assize trial in Belgium proceeds, and that is completely different from what we know from the American lawyer series.
