Dead Boy Detectives brings Neil Gaiman's comics of the same name to life. Edward Paine (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) are best friends who meet in death and help solve paranormal mysteries in the mortal realm.
Dead Boy Detectives is based on the comics of the same name by Neil Gaiman and is part of The Sandman Universe. Edwin and Charles, or "the brains" and "the brawn", are behind the agency Dead Boy Detectives. The two are best friends and ghosts... solving mysteries.
Edwin and Charles will do anything to stay together - including escaping evil witches, hell and death itself. With the help of a psychic named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), they crack some of the mortal realm's most mysterious paranormal cases.
The eight-episode series also stars Kassius Nelson, Jenn Lyon, Briana Cuoco, Yuyu Kitamura, Ruth Connell, Lukas Gage and David Iacono.
Dead Boy Detectives can be streamed on Netflix from Thursday, April 25.
The series was developed for television by Steve Yockey, who wrote the first episode and serves as showrunner alongside Beth Schwartz as co-showrunner. Greg Berlanti, Yockey, Schwartz, Jeremy Carver, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Gaiman are executive producers of the series from Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The first episode was produced and directed by Lee Toland Krieger.
