Dertigers (NL) season six soon to be shown on BNNVARA

The Dutch hit series Dertigers (NL) is ready for its sixth season, which will soon be shown on BNNVARA. In addition to a start date, a trailer has also been released for the upcoming season.Dertigers (NL) follows a close-knit group of friends around thirty, who each struggle in their own way with the big questions of life at this stage in life: love, friendship, career and identity. In the sixth season we are reacquainted with the personal dilemmas, doubts and hopeful dreams of the main characters.

Laura continues to long for the classic picture of a house, a tree, a pet, while Ruben tries to hold his own in a turbulent period in which his balance is hard to find. Suus wonders whether she and her partner Reza are ready for the next step in their relationship. Sam is under a lot of pressure: he runs his own business, is struggling with a major renovation at Jessie's and is worried about his grandmother. Meanwhile, Ada is struggling with an existential crisis after the breakup with Niels; while her friends are settling down, she, as a 32-year-old, feels more lost than ever.

The cast consists of familiar and new faces. For example, we see Claire Bender (The Jewish Council), Teun Donders (The Heir), Sabri Saddik (Sleepers), Teunie de Brouwer (Sihame), Sebastian Mrkvicka (Dirty Lines), Stefanie van Leersum (Moordvrouw) and Sia Cyrroes (The Golden Hour).

The script for the sixth season was written by Elzelien Peters, known for Tropenjaren.

Dertigers (NL) will be broadcast from Monday 7 July, the series will be broadcast every Monday to Thursday at 8:00 PM on NPO 3. In addition, four episodes will be released each week on NPO Start, for those who prefer to watch at their own pace.
