Down The Road (BE)

Down The Road (BE) is a Belgium reality program which aired on Een. The series premiered on February 28, 2018.

In the program Down the road, Dieter Coppens embarks on an adventurous challenge together with six young adults with Down syndrome: In season 1 they make a road trip through seven European countries, in season 2 a new group of candidates, accompanied by Dieter and Saar, go in search of adventure in South Africa.

For everyone going on the trip with them, this adventure comes at an ideal time: all are at a crossroads in their lives. The six people setting off on the trip with Dieter are all looking for friends who know what it is like to be different. But also for freedom, adventure, love, and new experiences. By going on the trip together, Dieter also wants to get a better idea of what it's like to live with Down syndrome.
