Season four of Emily in Paris will be released in two parts

Unlike the previous seasons, the fourth season of Emily in Paris will be released in two parts on Netflix.
The news was announced in a video on Netflix's social networks featuring popular cast members, including Lily Collins.

Emily in Paris season three ended on a cliffhanger, with Camille and Gabriel's surprise wedding taking a turn when Camille told Gabriel she couldn't marry him because he and Emily were clearly in love and later revealed to him that she was pregnant.

According to today's announcement, Emily will be devastated by these dramatic events in season four. An early synopsis from Netflix reads: Emily has strong feelings for two men, but Gabriel is about to become a father and ex-boyfriend Alfie's (Lucien Laviscount) worst fears about her and Gabriel are confirmed. Unfortunately, Emily and Gabriel's chemistry is undeniable as they work together to earn a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they've dreamed of.

Meanwhile, at work, Sylvie is forced to confront a sticky dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage while the Agence Grateau team goes through personnel changes. And Mindy and the band are forced to frugal when they run out of money to prepare for Eurovision.

You can expect the first part of Emily in Paris season four on Thursday, August 15 and the second part on Thursday, September 12. Netflix has also confirmed that parts of season four were shot in Rome, Italy.

Show creator Darren Star said as part of the announcement: “Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule in Season 4 of Emily in Paris. From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes. Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master.”

The series also stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery and William Abadie.
