Season three showed the love triangle between Emily, Gabriel and Camille and a pregnancy cliffhanger. Filming for season four began in Paris in January in the run-up to the Olympics and later wrapped in France. However, Collins said on Instagram that they were filming in Rome.
The new trailer opens with Emily single again and on the hunt for "hot men," but she soon finds herself drawn back to Gabriel and Camille. Soon, relationship and work dramas turn her life into a whirlwind.
Collins told “Emily in Paris” fans during Netflix’s Tudum event last year, ‘While Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes an unexpected twist this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.”
In a promo for Netflix, the cast members were asked to describe season four of Emily in Paris in three words, resulting in "vulnerable," "revenge" and "heartbreaking," to name a few. The fourth season will be split into two parts of five episodes.
The first part of Emily in Paris season four will be available to stream on Netflix on Thursday, August 15, and part two will air on Thursday, September 12.
