I'm going to write a mini review every episode (if I have time). I posted one from the second installment to the second installment of FTWD.

From season 2 on it just becomes "The Waling Dead" but with different characters. Incidentally, just as excellent and compelling.

After watching TWD all 11 seasons in a row in 3 weeks, just too addictive, I thought… I'm done with zombies. Unfortunately after a few days I got some kind of lack / rehab or something so it was FTWD's turn. Just like TWD in the 1st episode, I was caught like a fly in the web of zombies again. Not normal anymore. But what I find very unfortunate is that a lot of Spanish is spoken in it and that I, who cannot speak a word of Spanish, was forced to read. while watching/listening every now and then in between my work. That's why I give this series half a point less than its predecessor. But just as addictive 😁

Breaking Bad, Hell On Wheels, Halt And Catch Fire, Mad Men. No, you don't have to shove those guys from AMC under the nose of the 6-step program “tinkering über-addicting road viewers”, because they already master that art like no other. Series in which you occasionally have to take a different position in bed or on the couch to prevent those gushing bedsores from body fluids. Series that you can actually only start with a full refrigerator, because you already know in advance that you will not take fresh outside air over your lungs for a few days. That kind of series. Crack for the retina. The bad thing about crack is that you want more and more of it and in order to be able to continue to meet that demand, every now and then we are thrust down a spin-off of our favorite stuff. Try this. It's almost the same. Really. Try. You'll like it. Taste. ”. You can almost hear them whisper. Earlier this year AMC already served us a water-diluted version of Breaking Bad with Better Call Saul, now the hit series The Walking Dead is getting an unwanted stepbrother with Fear The Walking Dead. Even before Rick Grimes (If you do not know who Rick is, you first go and sit in a corner with a little shame and then consult Google) after a somewhat persistent coma woke up in a completely deserted hospital near Atlanta, the West Coast already shit on the marble. Zombie front to be precise. Inexplicably, after their death, people there suddenly turn into stubbornly wandering human meat shakers, and you could describe that as a dormant problem. Slumbering, because in Fear Of The Walking Dead, we are at the beginning of the widespread epidemic that Rick and his trained zombie killing machines in The Walking Dead end up dealing with. In LA they still think that some fences and barbed wire will stop things, but it soon turns out that this is not the best risk analysis that the Los Angeles City Council has ever issued. If the world hadn't already gotten to know The Walking Dead, we wouldn't have had such a bad thing about Fear The Walking Dead. The actors are great (I have so many hearts for Janette from Treme, that I almost have to rent a Shurgard box to be able to put them all), production is all solid and it is about people who eat people. What else do you want? But we all watched The Walking Dead together and that makes Fear The Walking Dead a series that is not wrong in itself, but completely unnecessary. Actually, AMC could just as well have called it Basically The Same As The Walking Dead. Of The Walking Dead Is Better Than This One And It Has More Seasons. Where we were at least presented with a new story with Better Call Saul, Fear The Walking Dead is very much the same. Most frustratingly, the question "How did it all start ?!" still remains unanswered and that is precisely the only thing Fear The Walking Dead could have added to the whole. However? Ultimately, that answer will of course come, but we will have to wait another five seasons for that. I think it's a shame. Much of the same. In that respect, you'd better start stretching for the new topper, which AMC will be throwing on your screen in mid-November. Into The Badlands. Last week I saw more images of it at ComicCon New York and that will be one as we prefer to see from AMC. Original, compelling and addictive as fuck. www.gumstarr.com
