Dynasty (2017) actor Rafael de la Fuente is joining CBS drama Fire Country

Fire Country is adding a new regular character for season two. Rafael de la Fuente joins the CBS drama as a new character named Diego. Starring Max Thieriot, Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway and Jules Latimer, the series follows Bode Donovan (Thieriot), a young convict who seeks redemption and a shorter prison sentence by committing to join a fire brigade team in the prison.



TV Line revealed the following about the role de la Fuente (pictured) will play in Fire Country:

“Dynasty (2017) actor Rafael de la Fuente has joined season two of the CBS hit in the role of Diego, a charming and motivated paramedic/firefighter and combat veteran who served in Afghanistan.

Diego will train Gabriela (played by Stephanie Arcila) for her paramedic certification, which will push Bode's estranged friend to her limits. Diego and Gaby will enjoy an “easy camaraderie,” sources said – but could that develop into something more?

The actor also had roles in Fox's Empire and FX's American Horror Story: Cult, among others.

Fire Country returns for its second season on CBS on Friday, February 16, 2024.
