Flesh and blood is a four-part TV series from the English channel ITV. The series is about the widow Vivien who one day tells her children that she has met a new flame. Her three children are not happy about this for various reasons. The lives of Helen, Jake and Natalie are turned upside down by this news. Neighbor Mary sees everything happening with special interest. Ultimately, a murder takes place. When I read about this series, I immediately made an association of the English series Gold Digger, but that association is incorrect. The story of this series can at no time be compared to Gold Digger. Flesh and Blood is a wonderful series with very unexpected twists, a lot of lies and a lot of secrets. Francesca Annis, Imelda Staunton and Stephen Rea are just a few of the very good cast of this series.
