Season 2 of Foundation picks up more than a century after the season one finale, with tension building across the galaxy. As the Cleons fall apart, a vengeful queen plots to destroy the empire from within. Hari, Gaal and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalists with psionic powers that threaten to change psychohistory itself. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, proclaiming the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach and causing the Second Crisis: war with the Empire. The Foundation adaptation chronicles the stories of four pivotal individuals who transcend space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.
Foundation marks a return to Apple TV+ for Siddig, where he starred in the streamer's international drama series Shantaram, opposite Charlie Hunnam. He will next be seen in the supernatural series Fallen for the Brazilian streaming service Globoplay. His other television credits include Gotham, Netflix's The Spy and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Deep State for Epix. His film work includes 21 Bridges and Skylines. He is represented by Zero Gravity Management and Markham Froggatt.
