'HBO Max working on one time reunion of Friends'

'HBO Max working on one time reunion of Friends'

It looks like the cast of the iconic comedy series Friends is coming back together for a reunion special. It has now been more than 25 since the series started.
It will be a one-off project and the special has no script. HBO Max wants to realize the project to make its own streaming service better known. All episodes of the Friends series will soon be available on the HBO Max streaming platform, which will start in the United States in May and will be available in Europe next year.

Friends had ten seasons at NBC between 1994 and 2004. 236 episodes were released. Deadline now reports that tough negotiations have taken place with Friends actors Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry to participate in the reunion. They have now reached an agreement in principle with producer Warner Bros. The special will last an hour. The six actors would each receive $ 3 million to $ 4 million if they participate.

That seems like a lot of money, but the rights of the complete series, previously shown at Netflix in the United States, are worth $ 425 million. HBO Max has not yet given formal confirmation of the project. But actor Matthew Perry has posted the tweet below.
