Start date and trailer for second season for MGM+'s science fiction horror series From

From is gearing up for its second season on MGM+ (the new name for EPIX). The streaming service has released a trailer sharing the return of John Griffin's sci-fi horror series. Starring Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad, follows the MGM+ series a small town that holds a deadly secret and traps those who visit it.

The ten-episode first season ended in April last year.



The plot of season two has been revealed as follows:

"FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that ensnares all who enter it. As its reluctant residents fight to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest - including the terrifying creatures that emerge when the sun goes down.

In season two, hidden truths about the town's nature and terrifying origins come to light as the lives of its residents are thrown into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers."

The new season arrives on Sunday, April 23.
