Fubar with Arnold Schwarzenegger renewed for a second season

He'll be baaacckk... Netflix has renewed Arnold Schwarzenegger's espionage adventure series Fubar for a second season.

Fubar revolves around a CIA agent who is about to retire and discovers a family secret. Forced back into the field for one last job, the series deals with universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humour.

Schwarzenegger revealed the news about the renewal himself Saturday at Netflix's Tudum event.

Fubar

Schwarzenegger stars Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner, Milan Carter as Barry, Gabriel Luna as Boro, Fortune Feimster as Roo, Travis Van Winkle as Aldon, Fabiana Udenio as Tally, Barbara Eve Harris as Dot, Aparna Brielle as Tina, Andy Buckley as Donnie and Jay Baruchel as Carter.

After premiering in May, Fubar opened with 88.94 million hours watched in the series' first four days of availability.

In a recent interview with Variety, Barbaro revealed that her off-screen dynamic with Schwarzenegger resembled their characters' father-daughter history: "And so it was kind of perfect that we had this father-daughter dynamic, because we would just give each other shit all day. I think that helped us a lot to find that sort of familial chemistry. He was also kind enough to let me ask him anything about his experience and all of that."

Nick Santora is the showrunner and co-producer with Schwarzenegger. Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale and Bill Bost also produce alongside Skydance's David Ellison and Dana Goldberg.
