The Bold Type will receive one more season, but it's going to be shorter than those that came before. For the fourth season, Freeform ordered a total of sixteen episodes. Before that, the seasons had ten episodes. For the fifth season, six episodes have been ordered. These will serve as the ending of the series as the fifth season is also going to be the final one.
The series revolves around the crazy lives and relationships of those who are responsible for a global women's magazine. Together, they explore sexuality, identity, love and fashion. The lead characters are portrayed by Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Chasing Life) and Meghann Fahy (Political Animals).
