Peacock has ordered a series of Dan Brown's Langdon, which was formerly known as Langdon. It is based on Brown's bestselling thriller novel The Lost Symbol.

In June 2019, the message came out that NBC was looking at a series revolving around Langdon. In January 2020, NBC had ordered a pilot episode, which would be based on the popular third book of Dan Brown.

Now, the series has been picked up by Peacock: “The team was blown away by this pilot and its enormous potential to become a big, binge-worthy hit, and our new structure enables us to move it to Peacock and give it every opportunity to make that happen,” said Rovner. “Our ability to pick up a great show is no longer limited by the confines of a network schedule, giving us the freedom to say ‘yes’ to shows we love and then find them the perfect home across our portfolio.”

The main cast consists of Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp.
