FOX has cancelled a drama series and renewed a comedy series. Other FOX series are still awaiting their verdict.



Prodigal Son doesn't have to wait for any good news. The series has been cancelled by FOX. And it isn't entirely clear whether or not Warner Bros TV is trying to sell the series to a different network or streaming service. HBO Max would be the logical choice for the procedural crime series.



The cats from Call Me Kat are purring away. The comedy series that is based on the British series Miranda has been renewed with its second season. The series that features Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) in the lead had thirteen episodes during this year. It had an average of 2.61 million viewers. Due to that, the series is considered to be one of the best-watched comedies of this year.



The Moodys (US) from FOX are still awaiting a potential renewal. The final three episodes still have to release. On the 6th of June, two episodes will air on the same day. The final episode will air on the 20th of June.

The fates of all the animated series have already been decided. Bless The Harts has been cancelled. The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers and The Great North have been renewed.

9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star and The Resident are still awaiting a verdict. But, it is expected that the well-performing medical drama series The Resident is going to be renewed.
