The CW has ordered two new series. The spin-off All American: Homecoming and the superhero series Naomi are expected to release during the upcoming television season.

All American: Homecoming is a spin-off to the popular series All American (2018). Next summer, a pilot episode will air as part of the third season of All American (2018). The spin-off is written by Nkechi Okoro. She also wrote several episodes for All American (2018). The series revolves around the characters Simone Hecks (Geffri Maya, Snowfall), a young tennis prodigy from Beverly Hills, and Damons Sims (Peyton Alex Smith, Legacies), an elite baseball player from Chicago. The duo is struggling with the pressure that comes with the professional sports world, but they also find challenges, temptations and drama in being a young adult.

The second series that was ordered by The CW is the superhero series Naomi. This series follows a teenage girl called Naomi (Kaci Walfall, The Equalizer). She is trying to find the origin of a supernatural event that took place in her town of birth. What she discovers is something that will make us doubt all our heroes. The story is based on the DC Comics series by Brian Michael Bendis, David F. Walker and Jamal Campbell. The series has been written by Ava DuVernay (Queen Sugar) and Jill Blankenship (Arrow). Both series were ordered for the 2021-2022 television season.
