Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso) is working on a new Apple TV+ series. Vince Vaughn (F is for Family) will portray the lead character in the new series, which will be called Bad Monkey.



Vince Vaughn (F is for Family) will portray the lead role in Bad Monkey. Next to that, he will also serve as executive producer. Vaughn will portray Andrew Yancy, a detective who has been demoted to restaurant inspector in Southern Florida. Yancy ends up getting involved in a world filled with greed and corruption once a tourist fishes a chopped off arm out of the water.

Bad Monkey is based on the book with the same name by Carl Hiaasen, which was released in 2013. The series has been in production for rather long at Apple. Apple TV+ has ordered ten episodes. The series comes from Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso).
