Though a Dec. 2022 release date is disappointing for fans hoping they’d be able to see the new season sooner, it does align with the first season’s release, which debuted on Netflix on Dec. 10, 2020.
While not everyone can return from the first season of Alice in Borderland (2020), it looks like Kento Yamazaki (Ryōhei), Tao Tsuchiya (Yuzuha), Nijiro Murakami (Shuntarō), Aya Asahina (Hikari), and Riisa Naka (Mira) will return, and fans should be eager to see what the show has in store for their characters moving forward.
