Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren have done quite well in the western series 1923. Paramount + has renewed the series with a second season.

The newest spin-off of the Yellowstone (2018) universe does not suffer the same fate as its predecessor. Where the 1883 series did not get a second season, fans of these series can now breathe a sigh of relief. Paramount+ has renewed the popular western series 1923 for a second season.

In 1923, Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren play the leading roles. This series follows the American Dutton family, living in Yellowstone, from the early twentieth century. The family must contend with pandemics, historic droughts, the end of Prohibition and the beginning of Montana's Great Depression. This series once again comes from Taylor Sheridan, who has achieved yet another hit in a short time.

For Paramount+, 1923 was the most-watched premiere ever in America. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions. The executive producers are Yellowstone (2018) co-creator Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Ben Richardson.

The first season of 1923 is currently still ongoing. In various countries, the series can be followed via SkyShowtime and a new episode is added every Monday.
