Audiences are treated to an extended scene from season two of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire.

Released during New York Comic Con on Thursday, the scene features Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Armand (Assad Zaman) going toe-to-toe as their coven feasts on a wealthy family who made their fortune in black market trading.

Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire is currently in production in Prague. After briefly pausing production in July due to the ongoing actors strike, it has resumed filming but is now set to premiere in 2024 as a result.

The series is based on the 1976 novel that spawned a 1994 movie starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. The series follows the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac who recounts his life with his maker Lestat de Lioncourt and teenage vampire Claudia to veteran journalist Daniel Molloy, accompanied by ancient vampire Armand. The first season was received well by critics and the show was renewed ahead of premiere in October last year.

In addition to Anderson and Zaman, the series stars Sam Reid, Delainey Hayles (who replaced Bailey Bass as Claudia in Season 2 of the AMC series), Ben Daniels and Eric Bogosian.

It is executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator and showrunner Rolin Jones, Mark Taylor, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
