Nip/Tuck actor Dylan Walsh has been tapped for a major recurring role in the upcoming seventh and final season of Paramount+'s military drama Seal Team.

Seal Team, starring David Boreanaz, follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and carry out the most dangerous, high-stakes missions.

Walsh (pictured) plays Captain Walch. Captain Walch was recently appointed Commanding Officer of DEVGRU. He follows the rules, but is also politically minded and may be clouded by his ambitions when deciding what to do with Bravo Team.

Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks and Raffi Barsoumian also star.

The series is produced by CBS Studios and executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, David Boreanaz, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Mark Owen.

Season seven will premiere in 2024.

Walsh, perhaps best known for his starring role in Nip/Tuck, has major recurring roles on three series simultaneously. In addition to his upcoming role on Seal Team, Walsh can also be seen as General Sam Lane on The CW's Superman & Lois and as Mayor Pete Chase on CBS's Blue Bloods, which is entering its fourteenth and final season.

His other recent television roles include recurring roles on ABC's Whiskey Cavalier and NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His film work includes The Lake House opposite Sandra Bullock, Author's Anonymous opposite Kaley Cuoco, Nobody's Fool opposite Paul Newman and Congo opposite Laura Linney.
