As The Night Agent prepares to begin production on season two, a new list of recruits is released.



They will join Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan and Amanda Warren, among others.

Berto Colon (Power Book II: Ghost, Orange Is the New Black), Louis Herthum (Westworld, The Peripheral) and Arienne Mandi (The L Word: Generation Q) will star in the series, with Brittany Snow (Harry's Law) and Teddy Sears (The Flash (2014), Masters of Sex) in recurring roles.



(Clockwise from left to right in photo): Colon plays Solomon, a former Marine who becomes the right-hand man of a powerful businessman. Herthum plays Jacob Monroe, an international businessman with powerful global connections that he uses to obtain valuable information and Mandi plays Noor, a low-level assistant in the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York who wants to use her access to top-secret information to get a better life for her and her family.

Snow plays Alice, Peter's (Basso) partner and mentor during his first assignment in Night Action. Sears plays Warren, a high-ranking intelligence officer who becomes the subject of a Night Action investigation.

Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-driven action thriller about a low-level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House and mans a phone that never rings - until nightfall. that it does ring, throwing him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads to the Oval Office.

The series is created, directed and produced by Shawn Ryan (The Shield, S.W.A.T. (2017)) through his MiddKid Productions.

David Beaubaire, Seth Gordon, Julia Gunn, Marney Hochman, Paul Neinstein, William Sherak, Nicole Tossou and James Vanderbilt also serve as executive producers. The Night Agent is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

Colon is best known as Cesar in Netflix's hit series Orange Is the New Black and Lorenzo Tejada in the Starz series Power Book II: Ghost. He can soon be seen in the HBO Max limited series The Penguin, produced by Matt Reeves and directed by Craig Zobel.

Herthum is best known for his role as Peter Abernathy in HBO's Westworld from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. He recently reunited with Nolan and Joy in Amazon's The Peripheral. Other leading roles are played by Apple's Home Before Dark and Netflix's What/If.

Mandi is best known for her role as Dani Nuñez in The L Word: Generation Q. She recently starred in the film Tatami directed by Guy Nattiv & Zar Amir Ebrahimi.

Snow can currently be seen in director Robert Schwartzman's film Good Grief and in the A24 film X. She is best known for her role as Chloe in the Pitch Perfect films. In 2023, she made her directorial debut with Parachute, a drama that she also wrote and produced.

Sears recently starred in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Stories and will soon be seen in the new NBC medical drama series Dr. Wolf. She also has three other works by Murphy to her name: American Horror Story: Murder House, The Politician (2019) and Impeachment: American Crime Story.
