The Last of Us is based on the Naughty Dog video game and takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, played by Pedro Pascal, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a fourteen-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job quickly becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they both have to cross the US and rely on each other for survival.
Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle and Spencer Lord (pictured from left to right) are the actors cast for season two.
Ramirez will play Manny, a loyal soldier whose sunny outlook belies the pain of old wounds and a fear that he will disappoint his friends when they need him most.

Ramirez previously starred in Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and guest-starred in Black Mirror, Orange Is the New Black and The Gifted, among others.
Barer had regular roles in Marvel's Runaways and Rebel (2021) and appeared in recurring roles in Atypical, One Day at a Time (2017) and Saved By the Bell (2020).
Gabrielle can be seen as Marianne Bellamy in the Netflix hit You and starred in the limited series Kaleidoscope with Giancarlo Esposito, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The 100.
Lord starred in the Canadian series Family Law (CA) and the Canadian family series Heartland. He also had guest roles in Riverdale and The Good Doctor.
The Last Of Us season two is written and produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.
