The new crime series started last week on BBC First, so you can still get in if you're quick.

In Catch Me A Killer we follow psychologist Micki Pistorius (Charlotte Hope), who is South Africa's first profiler. This series is based on the true novel of the same name.

At the end of the last century, Micki set up the first unit within the South African police dedicated to drawing up psychological profiles of serial killers.

The first episode of the series focuses on the hunt for the 'Station Strangler'. This is a serial killer who targets young boys. As the pressure to find the perpetrator increases, Micki must convince the old police guard of her new investigative methods. That is not always easy.

In the coming episodes, other infamous murder cases from South African history will also be discussed.

Catch Me A Killer has been on BBC First since last week. An episode with Dutch subtitles is broadcast every Thursday at 9:00 PM.
