Today Prime Video announced that it has ordered the drama series Haven (working title). The series stars Sophie Turner (pictured center), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (pictured right) and Archie Madekwe (pictured left).

The series is produced by Drama Republic. Crime novelist S.A. Nikias will write the series and Sam Miller will direct and executive produce the first three episodes. The series will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Haven is a contemporary, exciting thriller about the heist of the century and the ordinary office worker Zara (Turner) who is in the middle of it. A typical working day at a pension fund investment firm, Lochmill Capital, is turned upside down when a gang of violent thieves burst in and force Zara and her best friend Luke (Madekwe) to do their bidding. But who is stealing billions of pounds in pensions from ordinary people and why?

DCI Rhys (Fortune-Lloyd) is determined to get to the bottom of this, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys must keep his own money problems at bay while dealing with the secret agendas and competing interests at the center of this far-reaching crime.

“This attention-grabbing series, written by S.A. Nikias, is a unique thrill ride and serves as an ideal addition to our Pan-English slate implemented by Rola Bauer and her team,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. Directed by the fantastic team at Drama Republic, with the amazing Sam Miller directing and starring the incredibly talented Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd and Archie Madekwe, Haven has all the ingredients for a gripping, addictive, entertaining story that our global customers can enjoy.”

"When we first asked screenwriter Sotiris Nikias to write a thriller, we were amazed by the result. His nail-biting and funny scripts with many twists have rightly attracted a great cast and top creation.

This is Nikias' debut as a series writer, he co-developed the series with Drama Republic. The series is produced by Drama Republic and Amazon MGM Studios.”

Turner played the role of Sansa Stark in HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones. She was also seen in HBO Max's limited series The Staircase and will soon be seen in Joan, a six-part British series from ITVX.

Fortune-Lloyd was recently seen in the Netflix limited series Bodies (2023). He also starred in Hulu's The Great, Prime Video's The Power and Netflix's The Queen's Gambit.
