Still Up, the Apple TV+ comedy series about insomnia starring Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts, has been canceled after one season.

The series was quietly shelved earlier this year, it was reported, after launching in September 2023. Still Up was produced by I May Destroy You creator Various Artists and created by Natalie Walter and Steve Burge.

Still Up followed the exploits of Lisa (Thomas), an impulsive and free-spirited aspiring illustrator whose questions about her daughter's future begin to keep her awake at night, and the socially anxious but gifted journalist Danny, played by Roberts.

The pair have no secrets except their feelings for each other, and while the world sleeps they spend their long nights talking despite never having met.

Other cast members included Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston, Rich Fulcher and Sam Spiro.

Apple TV+ will not continue with the series. However, Thomas and Roberts are working together again on the comedy-horror film The Scurry, in which the former stars and the latter directs.

Thomas played Dr. for four seasons. Claire Browne on ABC's The Good Doctor and it was recently revealed that she is returning. The British actress has also starred in Channel 4's top drama Suspect, among others.

Apple TV+ is selective about its international comedy series. Only Rafe Spall comedy Trying, whose fourth season started last week, has run for multiple seasons.

Apple declined to comment.
