Patricia Heaton returns to television - and to filming in front of a live studio audience - with a guest role in the second season of Paramount+ Frasier (2023).

In the sequel to the Emmy-winning comedy series, Heaton plays Holly, who is down-to-earth, unpretentious and openly mocks overly intellectual types. Originally from Boston, Holly tends the bar at chic restaurants and events. She is extremely comfortable with who and where she is in life, a trait that the ever-climbing, ever-reaching Frasier (Grammer) finds as strange as it is attractive.

This is a reunion for comedy actors Heaton (pictured) and Grammer, who starred in the 2007 Fox comedy series Back to You, created by Modern Family's Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd. Grammer next guest-starred on Heaton's CBS series Carol's Second Act, with the Emmy-winning actors playing exes both times.

She currently has a supporting role opposite Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox in Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming film Merv and has completed the films Unbreakable Boy with Zachary Levi and The Ritual with Al Pacino.

This is Heaton's first appearance in a television series since Carol's Second Act in 2019.

Frasier (2023) continues to follow Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston to take on new challenges, forge new relationships and - with hope - finally fulfill an old dream or two.

The series also stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro and Anders Keith.

The series comes from writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who are producing alongside Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon.

Frasier is produced by CBS Studios in association with Grammer's Grammnet NH Productions and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside the Paramount+ markets.
